i agree, i was surprised at how good time’s up was. i liked it on the cd, but it wasn’t my favorite and hearing it live made me like it way more!
overall she sounded amazing and i can’t believe it’s live. her voice has seriously developed!
some parts are not live, like the echos on time’s up and crank it up, but it’s just a few parts and not the important parts, she did an amazing job!!!

@v u can see that caro clark isnt singing those echos lol but again, there are a few parts, i think she did sang live except for those echos
i think she sang the line that echoes, and the electronics on computers there make it echo. sound systems do that, they can make certain lines a person sings live echo..

I LOVE it! I love how they added the echo it makes the whole song that much more interesting live! She did AMAZING!
It’s one thing to be curious, but some of the comments here are borderline skeptical of Ashley’s abilities and authenticity during her shows.
She sang live. End of story. She has a backup singer, yes- even a backup instrumental track, but she sang live. When the microphone left her mouth, her vocals stopped. When she took a breath- you could hear it. To be honest, she even flubbed her line slightly during It’s Alright, It’s OK- and we heard it. Why? Because she sang LIVE.
It’s getting old that her own fans and sites like ours become grounds for bickering disputes every time she puts on a show. Without fail there’s always someone questioning her performance.
@Audrey it’s just a comment on how her live shows are, she sang live, no discussions there, but i thought we can talk about it, she did it great, and it was curious, at least for me, the echo… i didnt know how it works and im glad that someone here explain it. i think no one’s being skeptical… dont make it igger that it is, no discussions or disputes
I totally agree with audrey, you can hear the breaths! And ashley has a keyboard player he can do a lot of effects with his keyboard maybe the echoes were an effect of the keyboard! Last christmas was her best performance to me and i liked that all the songs were live!

totally agree with audrey. these arguments are getting old, on fansites and her music boards. if you’re a fan of ashley, then you should support her, even if she didn’t sing live, which you can tell she did.
Btw, Ashley told the crowd beforehand that this was her second time performing “Time’s Up” (I have it in my video). I wonder which show she sang it at before? Maybe the Microsoft event?

@audrey maybe she sang it at the gymnastics and skating event. there weren’t a lot of videos from that event, i only saw parts of two songs, so maybe no one recorded it. i would think someone would have recorded it at the microsoft event, but i don’t know. good question

Lexi- Ohhh, that’s a possibility! I’m just thinking aloud, since we haven’t (to my knowledge) seen a video of her performing “Time’s Up” yet.

Charlene- Sometime tonight (sorry I don’t have an exact time frame, the file is large & will take time to upload) like I said- I got everything but Masquerade (and the end of Tell Me Lies- we were still setting up). I’m looking forward to you guys getting to see the show from my point of view!
